Presidential candidate Donald Trump couldn’t get slurpees off his mind during his rally in Buffalo, New York on Monday.
He was speaking on the men and women who came to the rescue at Ground Zero after the 9/11 terrorist attacks…but referred to the date as “7-Eleven” instead.
According to KABC, the mixup caused some people in the audience to gasp.
“I was down there, and I watch our police and our firemen down on 7-Eleven, down at the World Trade Center, right after it came down and I saw the greatest people I have ever seen in action,” he said. “I saw the bravest people I have ever seen including the construction workers, including every person down there, that’s what New York values about.”
Maybe he was down at Ground Zero on 9/11 — or maybe he’s lying and was actually at 7-Eleven at the time.
When it comes to Trump, you never know.
