Jim Cummings, the man who voiced Disney’s ‘Winnie the Pooh,’ is being accused of rape and animal abuse by his ex-wife in an intense court battle.

Stephanie Cummings alleges in court documents that her ex-husband, veteran voice actor Jim Cummings, “has engaged in physical, sexual and emotional abuse including but not limited to death threats, rape, and various sexual deviant behavior forced upon me without my consent” since the couple divorced in 2011, The Blast reports.
Meanwhile, Jim, 66 — who has appeared in dozens of Disney cartoons — claims she is threatening to ruin his celebrated career, once telling him, “I am going to tell people Winnie the Pooh is a woman-beating, drug-addicted freak!,” according to the site.
The couple is fighting over custody of and support payments for their two daughters in a Los Angeles court, where Stephanie is claiming her ex is a “much smaller version of Harvey Weinstein” who isn’t safe to be around their kids, according to the site.
Stephanie alleges Jim raped her in 2013 and sexually assaulted her on other occasions — saying he often, “without consent, would touch my buttocks, my groin, and my breasts” and “demand sex from me in exchange for meeting his support obligations,” according to the site.
She claimed she wound up getting the first of two restraining orders against him in 2011 after he allegedly slapped her butt in front of their then-4-year-old daughter, then “forcefully put his hand on the back of my neck and kissed me while holding me in place against the wall.”
On another occasion, she claims, he said he was allowed to “touch Mommy’s breasts since he had paid for them.”
In court documents, Jim accused her of “obscene” “distortions.”
“‘Forcing’? Please, everyone, Gracie myself and especially YOU were all giggling and laughing, it was pleasant to have one moment of light-heartedness. We both erupted into laughter,” he wrote, per the site.
Stephanie said she ended up moving with their daughters to Utah in 2017 to escape the situation.
But when Jim came to stay so he could visit their kids, she woke up one night to find him “standing over me with his erect penis in my hand” while one of the girls was asleep beside her. She then obtained a second restraining order, according to the site.
Stephanie also alleges Jim abused their family puppy — once shattering its hip with a broom and on another occasion placing it “inside a metal bucket outside of the house on a day which it was over 100 degrees, then left it there for a long time” until it “came close to dying.”
He acknowledged in court documents that he put the pooch in a “tub” as a form of discipline and then forgot it was there “for a while,” but claimed the pet was ultimately fine, The Blast says.
Stephanie says they originally split because Jim was abusing “alcohol, marijuana, and Adderall” and that since then, he has shown up at her home “uninvited while intoxicated or high on Adderall,” but he countered that he has never taken that drug.
Jim says he has tried to resolve the dispute with his ex “amicably” but that she has “outbursts of hostility directed at me” — including last year, when he refused to take her to the premiere of the Disney movie “Christopher Robin,” The Blast reports.
