Two sisters have been charged with attempted murder after they allegedly attacked a Chicago store security guard who asked them to put on masks.

Jessica Hill, 21, and her sister Jayla, 18, were accused of using a small knife to stab a 270-pound security guard 27 times in the city’s Homan Square neighborhood on Sunday, according to the Tribune.

The Chicago Police Department said the 32-year-old victim was cut in the back, neck and arms.

Authorities said the guard was treated at a hospital, and his wounds did not require surgery, the Tribune reported.

The sisters face felony counts of attempted first-degree murder.

A judge ordered them held without bond.
