Say What Now? Michigan Police Department Changes Squad Cars to Say ‘Popo’ to Relate to the Youth [Photo]

A Michigan police department is trying to foster a better relationship with the youth in the community — so they’ve changed their squad cars to read  ‘popo’ instead of police.

No, we’re not making this up.

After saying their Facebook page has been helpful to connect with the community, Bath Township wrote “we are still struggling to really reach the younger folk out there. So in an effort to bridge that gap, we’ve decided to update out patrol car graphics in an attempt to be more relatable to the local youths.”

They ended it with three hashtags, including #HopingForMoreWavingWithAllFiveFingers.

Thankfully, the car didn’t stay marked as ‘Popo’ for long as it was done as a joke. Still, could you imagine getting pulled over by a car that read ‘popo’? Would you even stop?
