A Florida woman was arrested Sunday after allegedly beating her father who was farting too much in the home they both live in.

According to an arrest affidavit filed in Pinellas County court, Nicole Dozois, 40, “became angry” at her 59-year-old father at their home in Largo, in the Tampa Bay area, after 2 a.m. Sunday “due to his flatulence” disrupting her sleep. She started attacking him after an argument.
Police arrived and found Dozois’ father with “a bloodied left eye and scratches all over his neck” following the fracas wherein he was punched numerous times. Police said the two share a bedroom in the home.
Dozois was arrested and booked on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge before she was released on her own recognizance. She pleaded not guilty but has been ordered by the court to have no contact with her father.
Dozois was arrested in 2018 for punching her sister in the head in the same home but prosecutors declined to pursue a case against her.
