A South Florida woman was arrested on Sunday and is facing child neglect charges after she making up a story that her 6-year-old daughter had been kidnapped.

Maria Irias, 29, admitted making up the story, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said.
Irias allegedly told deputies she had been drinking all day Saturday and had no recollection of where her daughter was because she was so drunk.
The child was found a short time later.
Irias was being held in jail Sunday and couldn’t be reached for comment.
At least the child is okay! This story could have turned out SO much worse.
