The federal financial aid agency known as FAFSA tweeted what looked like a normal reminder for students to fill out their Free Application for Federal Student Aid — however, this reminder was accompanied by a photo that angered many.
The tweet read: If this is you, then you better fill out your FAFSA, followed by a photo of a popular scene from the movie Bridesmaids with the caption:
“Help me. I’m poor.”
Naturally, the Internet responded with outrage — many offended by the message FAFSA is sending.

The agency later deleted the tweet.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid is required for anyone seeking financial aid from US colleges and millions of students and parents fill one out online every year.
Do you think FAFSA took it too far? Or are people just being too sensitive?
