According to Alicia — it almost happened!
In an interview for Wired’s ‘Autocomplete’ series, Alicia revealed that she was in two bands before going solo — one that was comprised of her and her homegirls, and another that eventually became what we all know as 3LW.
According to Alicia, a label was trying to put together the group and knew that Alicia sang. It clearly didn’t work out.
