A 92-year-old man shot and killed his 72-year-old wife after getting into an argument on Valentine’s Day.

Police say a domestic dispute between the married couple turned deadly Tuesday night around 8 p.m at 1717 West 60th St. in South L.A.

After an argument, the man got a shotgun and then shot his wife, police say.

The woman died at the scene and the man was taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.

What a tragic way to end 72-years of life.
