Russell Wilson and Ciara took to Instagram from the comfort of their bed to celebrate the fact that Russell is now the highest-paid athlete in the NFL.
The Seahawks quarterback signed a 4-year, $140 million deal on Monday with $65 million guaranteed.
He now makes more money than other football greats including Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, Matt Ryan, Kirk Cousins — even Tom Brady.
“Hey Seattle, we got a deal,” a shirtless Russell said in the clip.
“Go Hawks! But, I’m gonna see y’all in the morning.”
Ciara did nothing but smile and giggle — as she should. Her man is paid!
