The internet seems to believe that Kylie Jenner named her newborn baby girl after one of her favorite things — a butterfly.
Update: Her name is Stormi.
According to rumor, the little one’s name is Mariposa (which is ‘butterfly’ in Spanish).

Three days ago Kris shared a snap of Kylie’s ‘Posie K’ Lip Kit to Instagram with the caption:
‘So cute! One of my favourite @kyliecosmetics shades!! Posie K is launching as a limited edition trio set to celebrate the second anniversary! Feb 5 on KylieCosmetics.com #Repost @kyliecosmetics: ‘Say hello to the Posie K Anniversary Lip Trio! Featuring our award winning shade in gloss, matte and brand new velvet formula! It’s unclear where ‘Posie K’ came from, but ‘posie’ does sound like a nickname short for Mariposa. ‘K’ could easily stand for a middle name.

The 20-year-old is seen wearing a butterfly necklace in one scene of the 11-minute pregnancy journey video she shared on YouTube. Later in the clip, she shows off her newborn’s nursery, which is decorated with a bunch of colorful butterflies on the wall.
At one point, the camera even zooms in on a children’s book that features a butterfly on its cover.
Rewind a few more months, back in June Kylie and Travis got matching butterfly tattoos above their ankles. In November, she shared an Instagram photo of herself wearing several butterfly rings.
