The “Real Housewives of Miami” star shared that she was on vacation in St. Barts in March “having the time of [her] life” when her doctor called her with the results of a routine mammogram.

“I have breast cancer,” she wrote on Instagram. “It took me a while to process it all and this is why I took a break from social media last month as many noticed.”

Guerdy, 45, thanked her fans for their “caring gestures” and shared that she is preparing for her upcoming surgery; her treatment plan will follow.

“This process is definitely intense and what I ask of you is empowerment not pity,” the reality star wrote.

“I will ‘guerdyfy’ this cancer as I guerdyfy everything else in my life.”

The Bravolebrity said that she was “lucky” that her cancer was “discovered at an early stage” and that she has all the “fuel” she needs through the love and support of family and friends.

“For those who do not get health checks regularly, I urge you to,” she concluded. “Your life depends on it.”

Cancer has hit close to home for Guerdy, who helped support her “RHOM” co-star Julia Lemigova as her wife, Martina Navratilova, battled throat and breast cancers.

“It’s looking very, very positive,” Abraira told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast in February of the tennis pro’s prognosis.

“And it’s on the preventative side, when they found out, it’s early. And we [pray] and that’s it. We’re keeping our head down and [hoping] for the best for her.”

The event planner, who shares two children with her husband, Russell Abraira, said that her friends were staying positive despite the health scare.

“I spoke to [Lemigova] as soon as it happened. We were supposed to get together for my birthday, but obviously she had to take care of some things medically for Martina,” she said. “They’re in great spirits, that’s the good news.”

Navratilova, 66, announced in March that she was cancer-free.
