You don’t even have to be a fan of rap to know that Lil Wayne’s albums have traditionally fallen under ‘The Carter’ moniker — and now, so is rap newcomer Young Thug’s.
Young Thug has decided to name his album ‘Carter 6’ and Lil Wayne’s daughter Reginae is NOT happy about it.
We’re sure that fact that her dad’s latest (and still unreleased) album ‘The Carter V’ has been at the center of a multi-million dollar lawsuit isn’t easing the tension. Neither is the fact that Young Thug is signed to Birdman’s Rich Gang management imprint.
Reginae made her thoughts on whatever it is that Young Thug & Birdman are trying to do VERY clear.
She tweeted:
Well — we can’t blame Reginae for sticking up for her father.
