Actress Regina Hall has landed the female lead role in the Hulu comedy pilot Crushed.
According to Deadline, Crushed follows “an African-American family who stumbles into a successful wine business in Napa.” The comedy series will focus on the family’s unconventional wine-making methods and distinctive lifestyle.
Tina Gordon Chism, who directed 2013’s comedy film Peeples starring Kerry Washington, is responsible for penning the project and will also serve as an executive producer.
Here’s to hoping that Crushed receives a series order! Congratulations, Regina!
