Rebel Wilson doesn’t see it for the Kardashians and she doesn’t care who knows.
The actress, who caught some heat for her ‘Stripper Police’ skit during the MTV Video Music Awards, told Australian morning show Kylie and Jackie O why she refused to present alongside Kylie and Kendall Jenner.
“I got asked to present with Kendall and Kylie at the recent VMAs and said ‘no’. It’s not that you hate any of them individually, but it’s just that everything they stand for is against everything I stand for. And they’re not famous for talent. I worked really hard to get where I’ve gotten to. … I know they’re super-popular, but I’m all about personality and working hard to get to where I am.”
That’s too bad. Maybe if she had she wouldn’t have gone through with that whole ‘make fun of police brutality’ thing.
