Raven-Symoné learned the hard way that people just don’t quite see it for her like they used to.
On Wednesday’s episode of ‘The View,’ Raven shared a story about how she got pushed out of the way at the Zoolander 2 red carpet premiere to make room for Kendall Jenner.
via The Grio:
Raven explained what happened: “I’m on the carpet – and I understand there’s rise and fall of people’s celebrity. I get it. I definitely respect those who get it. “However, I’m doing an interview with someone and the producer of this show – can I touch you Joy? I don’t want to hurt you – and she goes like this, ‘Move! Move! Get Kendall! Get out of the way!’”
Raven then demonstrated, using Joy Behar as a live model, how she was shoved aside.
“What happened then is I looked at her and said, ‘I’m sorry, I guess this tall… I guess she’s more important than everyone else.’ That’s fine but you don’t have to hit me to get somebody else’s interview,” Raven continued. “You can ask me kindly, ‘Excuse me, Kendall Jenner is coming. I need to interview her.’ And I’ll wait. But don’t slap me upside the chest. I got hit twice because this girl came behind me.”
How unfortunate. Watch Raven tell the story below.
