Diplo is speaking out on his contributions to Beyoncé’s long-awaited new album.
Diplo revealed to The Sun that he was approached to work on the new album, but believes that the ideas he contributed were part of a group of songs which have been ditched.
“I just did two songs for her new album, well, I tried,” Diplo said. “I think she scrapped the record. The record was supposed to be done and they have been hitting me up for brand new ideas. I like to work from scratch, [but] sometimes I get called in to fix records.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard that Bey might be starting over. Hopefully we get an official something soon.

UPDATE: Not so fast, Diplo took to Twitter to clarify his comments.

Does his tweet even make sense? Why would he say he tried to do two songs for her album, but the record got scrapped? Wouldn’t he specify whether one song or both songs got scrapped? It seems like he might have let something slip he wasn’t supposed to and is now trying to backtrack on his comments.
