Prodigy’s official cause of death has yet to be determined. The Clark County Medical Examiner has completed the autopsy, but is waiting for the results of a full toxicology report. Drugs are NOT believed to be a factor at this time.
As reported, the Mobb Deep rapper passed away Tuesday morning just a few days after he performed in Las Vegas. His publicist suggested he died as a result of complications from his battle with sickle cell anemia.
According to reports, the standard toxicology tests will take 6-8 weeks to complete.
