President Obama Slams Donald Trump’s Decision to End DACA in an Open Letter: ‘To Target These Young People Is Wrong’

President Barack Obama is firing back at Donald Trump’s decision to end DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) — a program that had protected nearly 800,000 young undocumented immigrants brought to the US as children from deportation.

The Department of Homeland Security will stop processing any new applications for the program as of Tuesday and rescinded the Obama administration policy.

Barack Obama posted a lengthy response on Facebook Tuesday, calling Trump’s actions ‘cruel’.
