Once again, TIME has announced its annual Person of the Year, which usually someone who’s been incredibly influential over the course of the past year.
This time, the honor of Person of the Year goes to our president, Barack Obama.
It’s certainly been a tough year for Obama, but it’s also been a rewarding year for him too.
This is the second time that President Obama has received this honor. Here’s what Richard Stengel, Managing Editor of Time had to say about the president:
For finding and forging a new majority, for turning weakness into opportunity and for seeking, amid great adversity, to create a more perfect union, Barack Obama is TIME’s 2012 Person of the Year.”
Congrats, Mr. President!
