American Idol is returning to our television screens next year, and when it does, it will be on a brand new network.
After rumors began circulating last week that ABC outbid FOX for an Idol revival, the Disney-owned network made the news official this morning.
Ben Sherwood, Co-Chairman of Disney Media Networks and President of Disney-ABC Television Group, touted an even “bigger” and “bolder” American Idol in an official statement.
Although not much is known about Idol‘s new installment, Ryan Seacrest is being eyed to return as host.
