Nicki Minaj rambled on another episode of Queen Radio today and directly addressed the video of Kylie Jenner avoiding her on the red carpet at the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards.
Nicki says that she completely understands why Kylie didn’t want a run-in.
“She gotta ride with her man, why the f–k wouldn’t she? We’re not gonna make this what it’s not. She’s a dope girl .. This is strictly about music, she has nothing to do with this. My fans are not feeding into this. We love Kylie,” she said.
Her on-air comments seem to be a bit of a backtrack from what she said on Twitter after finding out her album landed at No. 2 behind Travis Scott’s ‘Astroworld.’
“I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi,” she tweeted.
If it wasn’t a problem — why bring it up in the first place?
