Keke Palmer’s self-titled mixtape is now available for download. Take a listen to one of my favorite tracks from the set, “Rather Walk Alone“.
I’m definitely impressed. I wasn’t quite sure what direction Keke would take with her music because I always felt like her voice was ‘too grown’ for her image. Now that she’s older, I think it’s great that she’s really getting to experiment with her sound. “Rather Walk Alone” reminds me a lot of Brandy, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
