Extra caught up with jeweler Lorraine Schwartz at Gabrielle’s Angel Foundations Angel Ball in NYC, and the ring designer dished about creating Kim Kardashian’s 15-carat engagement ring.
Schwartz said Kim’s fiancé Kanye West was completely involved in every aspect of designing the ring. “I showed him a lot of stones. He picked a perfect diamond, a D flawless… He was really on top of every aspect of the design, wanting a certain northwest design on the ring, a compass style. He was perfect.”
Kim’s BFF Jonathan Cheban was also at the event. He said he didn’t know anything about the engagement. “Two people probably knew about it. It was definitely a surprise. Kim tells me pretty much everything before it’s going to happen, and she had no clue. I’m so psyched for her, she looks amazing.”
It’s certainly a stunner!
