The saga surrounding Gabrielle Union’s firing from ‘America’s Got Talent’ is far from over.
Last week, www.lovebscott.com exclusively reported that NBC sources say Gabrielle was fired after speaking out against problematic racism and sexism on set.
In addition, www.lovebscott.com exclusively reported that there is an investigation both within the network and outside, tying the alleged behavior into Matt Lauer and NBC’s history of coverups.
The network confirms that they are indeed looking into Gabrielle’s concerns.
A spokesperson for NBC tells www.lovebscott.com:
We remain committed to ensuring a respectful workplace for all employees and take very seriously any questions about workplace culture. We are working with Ms. Union through her representatives to hear more about her concerns, following which we will take whatever next steps may be appropriate.
Whatever happens, NBC better come with a satisfying solution — they’re in enough trouble as it is.
