Nas Says He Meant No Disrespect By Name-Dropping Doja Cat in New Song: ‘It’s All Love’

Nas says his new song “Ultra Black” isn’t a diss at Doja Cat — even though he drops her name.

“I just really was saying a rhyme that rhymed with ‘ultra black,’ ” Nas explained during his recent appearance on ‘Power 106’ in Los Angeles. “I didn’t even think of it. It’s all love. It was just like, ‘Michael Blackson black’… It’s bars, it’s lines. We play with words.”

Last week, Nas dropped “Ultra Black” and fans were quick to point out the line:

“We goin’ ultra Black, unapologetically Black / he opposite of Doja Cat, Michael Blackson Black”

Doja seemed to take the song in stride, revealing she plans to release a new song called “NAS.”

She says the song is an acronym, and fans think it stands for “N*ggas Ain’t Sh*t”

We’ll see if she still releases it now that Nas declares it’s ‘all love.’
