MTV has suspended production of ‘Catfish: The TV Show’ as the network investigates claims of sexual misconduct involving show host and executive producer, Nev Schulman.

“We take these allegations very seriously,” an MTV spokesperson said in a statement. “We’re working with Critical Content, our third party production company, to conduct a thorough investigation.”

‘Catfish: The TV Show’ first aired in 2012. Currently in its seventh season, the show features Nev investigating online relationships to determine whether people are who they say they are on the internet.
