Mahershala Ali may have been snubbed for Best Supporting Actor at tonight’s Golden Globe Awards, but his film Moonlight took home the most coveted honor of the evening.
Moonlight, a coming-of-age story about a young black boy coming to terms with his sexuality, won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture – Drama at tonight’s ceremony.
While Moonlight has won more trophies than any other film this award season, it is in a tight race with La La Land to win Best Picture at this year’s Academy Awards.
