Following a whirlwind few months of drama, Melissa Rivers, the daughter of the late Joan Rivers, has been named the new co-host of E!’s Fashion Police.

Melissa will co-host alongside Giuliana Rancic (who spent the early part of this year embroiled in scandal after making offensive remarks about singer Zendaya’s hair) and Brad Goreski when the show returns for new episodes on August 31.

Melissa being named as Fashion Police‘s new co-host follows the show’s lengthy hiatus and highly publicized departures from Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin earlier this year.

Melissa will continue to serve as the show’s executive producer.
