Marc Jacobs is being accused of trying to sabotage Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show.
Wednesday night marked the final day of NYFW and it was supposed to end with both Marc Jacobs and Rihanna presenting.
Traditionally, Marc Jacobs has held down the grand finale of fashion week spot with his show starting at 6pm on the dot. However, this year Rihanna decided to schedule her Savage x Fenty lingerie show for 7:30pm — making HER the closing presenter.
Marc Jacobs didn’t come out swinging at Rihanna for stealing his thunder, but after being known for starting his shows prompt every single year …. somehow this year his show started nearly an hour and a half late.
A slight delay would be odd, but understandable. The fact that Marc started over an hour behind schedule forcing people to choose between his closing show and Rihanna’s seems super shady…and people noticed.
