M.I.A. – AtTENTion [New Music]

Just the other day I was asking on Twitter if there was any new surrounding M.I.A.’s album that was supposed to drop in December. Nobody knew anything! A new song surfaced today called “AtTENTion” and it’s dope! Check it out below!

M.I.A. rarely disappoints. This track is a funky fusion of tribal beats, drum & bass, and it sounds like there’s a Bonecrusher sample in the mix. What I love most about the song is that it takes the point of view of a refugee in a tent, leading me to believe this is the same song revealed earlier this year on a tracklist called “Refugee-in-a-tent”. Music with a message. I love it!
