A couple have left several people disgusted after they apparently licked the inside of an ice cream tub before putting it back in a shop freezer.

A couple have left Twitter users raging after they licked a tub of ice cream before putting it back in the supermarket freezer.
Tequan Hines and his partner Asia, from Portsmouth, Virginia, sparked outrage when one of their videos went viral this week.
The clip – which has since been deleted from their Instagram account – begins with the couple walking down the freezer aisle of a local supermarket.
When Tequan is confident no one is looking, he encourages Asia to open a tub of soft whip ice cream and lick the top.
As he discreetly films her on his phone, Tequan then asks Asia to hold it over her shoulder so he can have a taste.
‘Let me taste it. Let me taste it,’ he says in the background.
Worried that they may get caught, Asia looks further down the aisle and says: ‘Hurry up, hurry up!’
As the pair have no intention of buying the ice cream, the mother then rushes to put the tub back in the freezer.
The 19-second video ends with Tequan and Asia running away and trying to hold in their laughter.

The couple’s clip was later posted on Twitter – where it amassed over three million views and sparked outrage among users.
One replied: ‘So when are they getting locked up?’
’20 years in jail,’ another added: ‘I’m so serious.’
‘If I read a news article saying they’d been imprisoned for life, it still wouldn’t satisfy me,’ a third joked.
Meanwhile, a fourth said: ‘Now I don’t wanna eat the ice cream I got myself to enjoy with my cake. I’m throwing everything away.’
A fifth horrified viewer said: ‘What?! What is wrong with people? Why is this even a thing? This is disgusting.’
Social media users started sharing videos of them doing the viral prank back in 2019.
In March 2020, D’Adrien L’Quinn Anderson, of Port Arthur, was sentenced to 30 days in jail for running his tongue over a tub of Blue Bell ice cream at a Texas Walmart before returning it to the shelf.
He was also given an additional 180 days probation over two years, and ordered to pay a $,1000 fine and $1,565 in restitution to Blue Bell Creameries.
According to Virginia state law, an individual who ‘adulterates or causes to be adulterated any food, drink, prescription or over-the-counter medicine, cosmetic or other substance with the intent to kill or injure any individual who ingests, inhales or uses such substance’ can be charged with a Class 3 felony.
It can also result in a fine of up to $100,000 and between five and 20 years imprisonment.
TMZ is reporting “cops are currently investigating the video to figure out which store the incident might have occurred at, adding, “Thus far no business has come forward as a victim in our jurisdiction.”
