Lamar Odom is seeking professional help.
The former Los Angeles Lakers player recently checked himself into rehab in San Diego, Calif.

“It was his own decision. He wanted to work on his mental and physical health for the next chapter of his life,” a source shared with E! News. “He has not fallen off the wagon, but he understands the importance of maintaining his sobriety.”
The decision comes more than a year after the former NBA player experienced a near-fatal overdose in Las Vegas.
Back in October 2015, Lamar became unconscious at a brothel in Crystal, Nev. An ambulance took him to a nearby hospital where doctors found a cocktail of drugs in his system.
While Khloe Kardashian recalled the moment when she was told he only had four hours to live, Lamar defied friends, family and doctor’s expectations and was able to move to a private rehabilitation center closer to Calabasas.
While the athlete experienced some setbacks during his recovery including reports of being homeless, sources previously told E! News that he was focused on living a healthier life.
