Kim Kardashian’s undergarment line, SKIMS, has been given an Olympic-sized endorsement from U.S. female athletes heading for Japan next month.

The ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ star took to Instagram and made the amazing announcement, which included a host of pictures of our star athletes sporting her impressive designs. Interestingly, Kim pointed out she has been hearing stories and surrounded by the heroics from the Olympics after living with her step-dad Caitlyn Jenner.
“Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied. I traveled w my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics, and track meets of Caitlyn Jenner and at every stop I would buy an Olympic t-shirt as a souvenir,” Kim captioned the pictures.
In the snaps, several of our amazing athletes from all different sports were photographed wearing Kim Kardashian’s line — which includes underwear, loungewear, and comfortable items which will be worn in between competition.
“When I received the call inviting Skims to be a part of ‘Team USA’ ??, every moment I’ve spent admiring the strength and energy of the Olympians from the sidelines came full circle,” Kim continued.
Adding, “I am honored to announce that ‘Skims’ is designing the official team USA undergarments, pajamas, and loungewear for the athletes this year in Tokyo and the same pieces will be available in a capsule collection at SKIMS.COM ??. The reality star listed several names of female athletes who will be taking part in the massive deal, and it includes soccer star, Alex Morgan.
The best part, Caitlyn commented on the Olympics post, saying, “Wow! Full circle! Amazing! So so proud. Love you. Congratulations!!!” Kim’s sister, Khloe Kardashian got in on the action, and posted a comment on Instagram “Kimberly this is so monumental! I’m so proud of you! There is nothing you can’t do!!!” Kourtney Kardashian said it best, without saying much at all sharing on IG a bunch of fire emojis.
Interestingly, the Skims/Team USA deal sparked a raging debate on Twitter about where the actual items will be manufactured with many questioning if they are made out of the country. “Congrats on ‘Skims’ being selected to dress the U.S. Olympic Team! Can we ask where these garments are going to be manufactured?” a person asked. Another added, “So I just saw the Kim Kardashian x skims is designing some official us Olympic team gear and I guess I am curious if any us Olympic team gear is …. made in America?
It’s unclear where these specific products are made, but we are guessing she will address the situation in the upcoming weeks. Either way, this is a huge accomplishment for the ‘KUWTK’ star and her company and a huge win overall!
Love or hate her, Kim is a smart business woman.
