Kim Kardashian Says She Found Out About Kanye’s Presidential Run When Everyone Else Did [Video]

Now that ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ is back on air, Kim Kardashian sat down with Ellen and gave ‘The Ellen Show’ audience a quick update on everything on in her life.

During their chat, she revealed that Kanye hadn’t told her about his plans to run for President and that she found out when the rest of the world did — but he’s serious about it!

“That was news to me,” she said, explaining that it “wasn’t a discussion in our household. I believe he is serious and I know that if he puts his mind to something he’ll do his best. And he will. It’s been fascinating just hearing all of the conversations that have gone on since that announcement. I don’t know if that was planned and I just didn’t know about it or if he came up with that idea right then and there…That was a fun night and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.”

“I was joking with him. I was like, ‘You’re going to have to make it to a second term,’ because he loves redecorating. I was like, ‘You’re going to want to redo the whole White House and we’re not going to be able to enjoy it. So we’re going to have to just go with the flow.'”

As far as baby names, Kim says she likes ‘Easton’ but Kanye doesn’t.

“I do like the name Easton,” said Kim. “I don’t’ think that my husband likes that name, but I like it. It’s definitely not South. Every time someone says South I just want to roll my eyes.
