If you’re looking forward to seeing Kerry Washington slay the red carpet at this Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards, you’ll be sad to hear that the ‘Scandal’ actress has decided not to attend.
“I’m not going on Sunday,” Kerry Thursday at the HBO Winter TCA party in Pasadena, Calif. “It was a decision and I’m sure it’ll be a great night and everybody who’s there will have a good time.”
She added that she’ll “probably” watch the awards show from home.
Could this have anything to do with rumors of her and husband Nnamdi Asomugha having marital problems? The couple appeared together last month at the Kennedy Center Honors Gala and from the photos many of you said they didn’t look too happy.
Maybe this is her way of avoiding another awkward red carpet moment…or maybe she just doesn’t feel like going.
Either way, she’ll be missed!
