Remember during the last Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion when NeNe Leakes and Kenya Moore both pledged to donate $20,000 to Detroit Public Schools?
Well, Kenya’s held up her end of the bargain. Despite having to cancel two scheduled appearances at the school, Kenya did in fact put her money where her mouth is.
She posted the above photo to Instagram along with the caption:
I’m proud to be able to give back and keep my promise to the Detroit public schools foundation to donate $20,000. Detroit is a resilient city and so am I. I will continue to shine despite the people who want to see me fail or try to turn my positivity in to negativity. See you soon Detroit! #igotyomoney #kenyalovesthekids #twirlsawayhaters
