Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN’ Album Has Already Been Certified Platinum

Kendrick Lamar’s new album, DAMN, has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America — and it hasn’t even been out for a month yet.

The album, released April 14, is the first album to go platinum in 2017. J. Cole’s 4 Your Eyez Only, went platinum last month…but it was released in December, 2016.
