Katy Perry has reportedly selected longtime friend Jennifer Aniston to be her daughter’s godmother.

Perry, 35, is just weeks away from giving birth to her first child with fiancé Orlando Bloom, 43.
Aniston reportedly broke down in tears of joy when the couple asked her to step into the role.
“She is pretty chuffed about it as well and cried when they asked her,” a source told the tabloid.
The two have been friends for nearly a decade and have bonded even further during the coronavirus pandemic.
“Katy and Jen are very close. During lockdown they went for socially-distanced walks, and spent lots of time catching up,” the source said.
Aniston’s already racked up years of experience as a godmother to Courteney Cox’s 16-year-old daughter Coco.
Perry is in high spirits ahead of her delivery. She’s showed off her baby bump in high-fashion ensembles on social media.
The “Roar” singer dished on her pregnancy while promoting her new album “Smile” on UK radio Friday, joking, “I am waddling like a duck! I’m breathing heavily, I’m a full-on mouth-breather.”
