Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Kandi Burruss decided to spend her Christmas on the beach. Posing in a super cute bathing suit, she posed for the camera — along with her daughter Riley — for a series of snaps later posted to Instagram.

The photos come a few days after she received harsh criticism for her weight by fellow cast member Kenya Moore. During last Sunday’s episode of the show, Kenya poked fun at Kandi’s weight while the ladies were on a trip to Savannah, GA.
‘I don’t know what got into Kandi. Maybe she smelled some Chick-fil-A or a burger upstairs,’ Kenya commented.
After receiving some negative words from fans, Kenya took to her Bravo blog to defend herself. She wrote:
‘I made a wise crack. Kandi knows I think she has a great figure, so I’m sure she laughed as we have together about the 5-10 pounds she wants to lose.’
Kandi didn’t take Kenya’s comments to heart, as she posted her own message on Instagram shortly after the episode aired. It read:
Last night on the chat box for #KKN people wanted me to say how I felt about what @kenyamoore said on last week’s episode of #RHOA…. Well she says I need to miss a few meals but I say Im fabulous! (sic).
Gone wit the wind fabulous, Gone wit the wind fabulous…. (In my @kenyamoore voice) LMAO!’, Kandi added in reference to Kenya’s famous catchphrase on the show, before adding a bunch of hashtags
