Jamie Foxx took to Instagram to announce that he’ll be hosting a telethon for Houston that will take place simultaneously in Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville on Sept. 12.
“Just wanted to let everyone in Texas know, we got you. From a fellow Texan, my heart goes out, my prayers go out,” he said in an Instagram video, adding that he has already donated $25,000 to GlobalGiving to help victims.
“September 12, we have a telethon that we’re doing,” he continued. “We’ll give you more details, so we can raise as much money as we can for everybody down there.”
Houston legend Bun B will host from Houston while Blake Shelton and Reese Witherspoon will host from Nashville. Michael Strahan and possibly Kelly Rowland are on lock to host the New York broadcast.
