Jalen Rose, Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons) and Anna Maria Horsford (Friday) have been tapped to co-star in the ABC comedy pilot Jalen Vs. Everybody.
Per Deadline:
[T]he comedy follows former NBA player and current ESPN personality Rose as he juggles his career responsibilities with the challenges of being a single dad. Horsford will play Jalen’s mother, Moms, and Gibbs portrays his grandmother, Grammie. Put together, smart, and meddlesome, they both keep a close tab on Jalen’s life, and weigh in regularly, critiquing his ESPN shows and his personal life.

Marla Gibbs and Anna Maria Horsford on the same show sounds like a win.
