Well, this comes as a surprise.
Jada Pinkett Smith will not be returning to Gotham for a second season.
Jada made the announcement this morning on Live with Kelly and Michael.
When asked if her character Fish Mooney would be returning for season two, she said the following:
“I don’t think so, no. I signed for a year, and the year is up. But there are some great things coming ahead on Gotham, believe you me. There’s a lot of good stuff coming.”
Well, this is a bummer.
However, Jada did joke about the possibility of an eventual return… if her character survives.
“She could show up anywhere, you never know!“
