Hollywood sure does love making sequels.
Earlier this week Martin Lawrence confirmed that a third installment of the Bad Boys franchise is in the works, and now Jackie Chan is speaking out on the possibility of a fourth Rush Hour film.
It sounds like Jackie Chan has some sense, because he says he refuses to do it unless the script is up to par. While speaking to audiences during a Q&A in London to promote his new film Chinese Zodiac, he notes:
“Just like lately they want to make ‘Rush Hour 4.’ I said ‘No, show me the script first. I don’t need another ‘Rush Hour 4.’ You need ‘Rush Hour 4.’ Show me the script.’ I don’t want to do a rubbish script just because they want to make the movie.”
Smart man.
