Larry Flynt, the man who launched world-famous porn brand Hustler, has died.
He was 78.
According to his family, Larry passed away Wednesday morning in Los Angeles due to heart failure.
Larry was the president of Larry Flynt Publications (LFP).
LFP mainly produced magazines, such as Hustler, pornographic videos, and three pornographic television channels named Hustler TV.
Later in his career, Larry dabbled in politics by attempting a brief presidential run in 1984 and running for Governor of California in the 2003 recall election.
He also weighed in during Bill Clinton‘s impeachment trial by offering $1 million for evidence of sexual transgressions to publish his “The Flynt Report.”
Larry married 5 times. He married his current wife, Elizabeth Berrios, in 1998. He has 5 daughters and a son, along with many grandchildren and great-grandkids.
