Holiday Cheer: Queen Latifah to Pay the Staff of Her Cancelled Talk Show Through the Holidays…With Her Own Money

Queen Latifah’s talk show got cancelled just weeks before the holiday season — and you can imagine how difficult that’s been for all of the families affected by the sudden halt in income.

Well, Queen has decided to take on the role of Santa Claus this season and is continuing to pay her laid-off staff through the holidays.

I just got word that Latifah is using her own money to pay the show’s crew through the holidays even though production has officially shut down. (While original episodes of the show will run through March, the production crew is no longer necessary.)

That’s one hell of a Christmas gift!
