18-year-old Simone Biles may be her own harshest critic, but even on her off day, no one proved to be a match for her at the 2015 World Gymnastics Championships in Glasgow, Scotland.

With her victory on Thursday, Simone became the first woman to win three consecutive World all-around titles.

Right behind her in second place was 2012 Olympic all-around champion Gabby Douglas, who became the first reigning Olympic all-around champion since 1981 to win a medal at the World Gymnastics Championships.

Following her history-making win, Simone spoke with reporters:

“Everyone wanted the three-peat and I wanted it, so tonight I felt the pressure and it wasn’t my best meet. What surprises me is that it was a bad meet for me and to still come out on top with the largest margin of victory (of my three titles) was really crazy because I could have done so much better.”

Congratulations, Simone and Gabby!
