Chrisette Michele took her time to respond to the backlash after it was announced she’ll be performing at Donald Trump’s inauguration concert.

Unlike Jennifer Holiday, Chrisette isn’t willing to give up that ‘Trump check’ and says she’s STILL going to perform as a way of ‘representing you, because this is what matters.’

There are rumors circulating that Chrisette was offered $750K for her performance, but we don’t believe that one bit. She was probably offered $750 and SAID ‘ok.’
