If you’re a fan of “Dancing with the Stars,” then you’re probably curious to know what the Gabby Windey and Michael Bublé beef is truly about. Here’s what we know about the brewing feud between the two public figures. Drama, anyone?
As you may know, Windey served as a contestant on Season 31 of the ABC competition in 2022, where she finished as runner-up alongside her partner, dance star Val Chmerkovskiy. During that same season, Bublé acted as a guest judge and performer. In early April, Windey appeared on an episode of “Las Culturistas with Matt Rogers & Bowen Yang” and doubled down on her “issue” with the Canadian singer-songwriter, which has since gone haywire in the press.
When recalling crossing paths with her now enemy on the set of the show, the TV personality told the hosts in a (seemingly) satire manner: “Me talking mad sh*t on Michael Bublé… first of all, this is not the first, second, third, or fourth time [I’ve done that]. I will also scream it! Michael Bublé’s beyond dead to me.”
Bublé left a sour impression on Windey when he rated her “Dancing with the Stars” rumba a 9. She proceeded, briefly detailing how her initial thoughts were that she’d get a whopping 10 from pop crooner. “He, like, literally eye-f***ed me [and] looked me up and down on the way to my trailer. [laughs] You know what I mean? I’m like, ‘I’m, for sure, getting a ten out of this guy.”
Unfortunately, Windey was let down when she didn’t. Podcasters Rogers and Yang then asked if she felt that Bublé’s alleged eye that he gave her was done out of flirtation. Windey furthered in conclusion, “I don’t know! That is not the way to flirt with me,” she shared. “I don’t do that. I like the love-bomb. Like, I’m all for it.”
Per Page Six, Bublé’s scoring of Windey’s performance came with a compliment, referring to her and Chmerkovskiy’s footwork as the “sexiest version [he’d] ever seen.” However, whatever that interaction was about, the joke is definitely on us (the crowd) as Bublé has been happily married to his wife, Luisana Lopilato, since 2011, and so has Windey to her lovely lady, Robby Hoffman.
The Gabby Windey and Michael Bublé Beef Has Been Picking Up Some Buzz for a Minute Now
While Windey’s latest sighting on the iHeartRadio podcast may have spread like wildfire in the media (as of recently), back in March, Windey opened up about her riff with Bublé in a segment of Cosmopolitan’s “Cheap Shots.” When asked to tell the camera a male celebrity she’s worked with [who] she “hates,” the 34-year-old wasted no time yelling the 49-year-old’s name.
“Michael Bublé! [laughs] ‘Cause he didn’t give me a perfect score on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ but he did look me up and down in my outfit,” “The Traitors” winner recounted. “So, whose side are you on?”
One can assume that Windey’s “hatred” for Bublé is only a piece of her effortless dark humor. As of now, the “Spicy Margarita” phenomenon has yet to comment on the former Bachelorette’s claims.
