Olympian Gabby Douglas has her very own Barbie!
Mattel celebrated Gabby’s 2016 Olympics qualifying run at the U.S. gymnastics team’s trials this past weekend by presenting her with a Barbie in her likeness.

To honor Douglas’ groundbreaking efforts, after she became the first woman of color to win the individual all-around competition at the 2012, Mattel unveiled a “Shero” Barbie in her honor Monday. The line — which includes the likenesses of Misty Copeland, Ava DuVernay, Emmy Rossum, Eva Chen, Trisha Yearwood and Zendaya — focuses on female heroes who inspire girls by breaking boundaries.
While it may be hard for her young fans to replicate her moves on their own (best not to try that standing tuck-twist she does on beam at home), they can imagine flying through the air with ease like Douglas with the doll, who comes with a leotard inspired by the gymnast’s line for the sportswear outfitter GK.
Congrats to Gabby on this outstanding honor!
